Payment Terms

1. Payment Schedule - MONTHLY BLOCK BOOKINGS

1.1 Monthly block bookings to be made by the first scheduled class of each month, after which the PAYG terms apply. Note: some months will be 4 or 5 weeks payment dependant upon the calendar month.

 

1.2 Block bookings are non transferable and only refundable if requested in writing prior to the first class commencing.  

 

1.3 Future months will become available to book on the 2nd of every preceding month.  eg. November block bookings will be available to book on October 2nd.

 

1.4 Missed classes cannot be carried over to future months.

2 Payment Schedule - PAY AS YOU GO

2.1 Pay as you go bookings are for 1 class and valid for one week only. They are non transferable and non refundable.

2.2 You can reschedule your session up to 24 hours prior to class by going to your confirmation and changing the date.

2.1 3-Month Recurring Payment Terms

1. Subscription and Payment Terms
By purchasing this 3-month contract, you authorise Satori Tai Chi to charge your specified payment method automatically each month for a total duration of three (3) consecutive months and £98 permonth. Payments will be securely processed through our third-party payment gateway, Stripe.

2. Billing Cycle
Your first payment will be charged immediately upon registration. The remaining two (2) subsequent payments will be automatically deducted on the same calendar day of each following month (e.g., if you sign up on January 15th, your next billing dates will be February 15th and March 15th).

3. Commitment Period and Cancellation

• Minimum Commitment: This contract requires a strict 3-month minimum commitment.

• Early Termination: You cannot cancel this contract before the 3-month period ends. You are responsible for all three monthly payments.

• Post-Contract Renewal: [Select Option A or Option B below]​

  • After the final third payment, your subscription will automatically expire, and no further charges will be made unless you manually renew. You will revert back to choosing your next payment plan.

4. Failed Payments and Collections
If Stripe is unable to process your monthly payment (due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or other issues), you will be notified via email. We reserve the right to suspend your access to our services immediately. You remain legally responsible for the outstanding balance. Any retry fees or collection costs incurred will be added to your balance.

5. Payment Security
All payment transactions are securely handled by Stripe. Satori Tai Chi does not store or have access to your full credit card or bank details. Stripe's privacy policy and security practices govern all payment processing.

 

3. Automatic Payment Authorisation

2.1 We do not take automatic payments from your account. If you wish to secure a seat by block booking please book online and pay as per the booking terms listed in MONTHLY BLOCK BOOKINGS

5. Cancellation Notice

5.1 PAYG classes cancelled within a 24hour period cannot be refunded or transferred to another class. PAYG classes with more than 24 hours’ notice are welcome to transfer onto the next class provided there is availability within that week/month. We cannot roll over sessions indefinitely. You should check if the class is available by checking online first, before you cancel and add another class.  This should be done within your confirmation email. which allows you to manage your own booking.

5.2 Monthly block bookings can only be cancelled for the entire block of that booking up to 24 hours before first class is scheduled. Return of funds will incur an admin fee of £5, which is the unredeemable transaction fees when you paid to book, in addition to the transactions fees for processing the refund.

 

6. Refunds

 

6.1 PAYG refunds can be provided upon email request. Please state clearly the class dates/times to cancel.  Your refund should reach your bank account within 7- 14 working days.  A £1.50 admin fee will be deducted from the total cost of each PAYG class cancelled, this covers original transaction fees paid, which are not redeemable by us.

 

6.2 Block booking refunds can be provide upon email request. Please state clearly the class dates/times to cancel.

7 Personal Belongings

7.1 Satori Tai Chi and Qigong are not responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen during training sessions.
7.2 It is advised that valuables be left at home. There are no storage facilities in the studio.

8. Health and Safety

8.1 A health and wellness questionnaire is required for every new student. This will be sent upon payment confirmation or provided to complete before class. We cannot be responsible for any injuries as result of us not being made aware before class.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

9.1 Satori Tai Chi and Qigong reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or other communication methods.
9.2 Continued participation in Satori Tai Chi Qigong activities after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Acceptance of Terms

11.1 By ticking this box you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. You accept full responsibility for your participation in Satori Qigong from liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred.
